“Citizen quiz” è tutorial dei diritti LGBT in Italia ed in Europa realizzato per l’associazione Equal Jus – rete europea per il sostegno legale dei diritti LGBT.
Recentemente approvato dalla Commissione europea, Direzione Generale Giustizia Libertà e Sicurezza – Dipartimento Diritti fondamentali e Cittadinanza, il Progetto Equal Jus si pone come obiettivo generale di contribuire, al livello europeo, ad affermare e tutelare i diritti dei cittadini LGBT.
Operativamente, il Progetto Equal Jus, che si svolge in quattro paesi europei (Italia, Francia, Polonia e Lituania) attraverso un approccio partecipativo, mira a costituire una rete di associazioni in grado di offrire consulenza legale ad individui e ONG per contrastare l’omofobia, ma anche a formare professionisti dell’area giuridica e a diffondere gli strumenti giuridici per patrocinare la tutela.
Il Progetto inoltre vuole incoraggiare gli avvocati ad approfondire la questione della discriminazione basata sull’orientamento sessuale meglio conoscendo le leggi a protezione dei cittadini LGBT, sia al livello europeo, che degli Stati membri.

“Citizen quiz” is a tutorial on LGBT rights in Italy and Europe, created by the association Equal Jus – a European network supporting legal rights for LGBT individuals.
Recently approved by the European Commission’s Director General for Freedom, Justice and Security – Department of Fundamental Rights and Citizenship, the objective of the Equal Jus Project is to contribute, at a European level, to the affirmation and safeguarding of the rights of LGBT citizens.
Operationally, the Equal Jus project — which is being developed in four European countries (Italy, France, Poland and Lithuania) — makes use a collaborative and participative approach and seeks to create a network of associations capable of offering legal advice to individuals and NGOs which will enable them to combat homophobia. It also aims to educate professionals in the judicial area and to spread judicial instruments for the defence and safeguarding of LGBT rights. The project also seeks to encourage lawyers to deepen their knowledge of sexual orientation based discrimination and to improve their knowledge of the laws protecting LGBT individuals, be they at the European level, or at the level of member states.
